Andrée Guy has been practicing public accounting since 1985. She has developed an expertise in certification and consulting across all sectors with a specialization in publicly accountable firms. Her clients consist of financial companies including portfolio managers and mutual funds, as well as not-for-profit organizations such as foundations, charities, colleges and professional orders. Her thoroughness and dedication make her a highly valued consultant, and clients benefit from her knowledge and experience in issues of governance.
After studying internal control and internal auditing, she developed these services within the firm. She also provides forensic accounting services, including compiling expert reports and providing expert testimony.
Andrée became a Chartered Accountant in 1985 and started a private practice, where she worked until her association with PSB Boisjoli in 1997. She has received the Prix Reconnaissance, the Prix d’administrateur bénévole de la Table de concertation des aînés de l’Ile de Montréal and is a Fellow of the Ordre des administrateurs agrées du Québec[1], and since 2004 has been part of Women in the Lead, a national directory of women whose professional expertise and experience recommend them as candidates for corporate board appointment. She has served on several boards of directors and committees throughout her career.
