Continuing Education

PSB Boisjoli offers continuous education to our accounting practitioners through our internal and external training programs which take place throughout the year.

Internal Training

Depending on employment level, practical and effective internal training sessions are provided internally by senior staff and managers. This allows all employees to build on their knowledge and professional expertise. It also allows staff to work in a cohesive manner while staying abreast with recent developments in the fields of audit, accounting and taxation.

External Training

PSB Boisjoli provides financial funding for all employees to take part in at least 1 course offered by the Ordre des Comptable Agréés du Québec (OCAQ) per year. In addition, other external accounting professional provide training to staff, managers and partners alike as it relates to the progression towards harmonizing CICA standards with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the new Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and the new Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS).
