Sam Spatari has over 20 years of experience as a chartered accountant and consultant. His client base is comprised of private companies operating primarily in the manufacturing, retail, distribution and technology sectors. Over the years, he has developed extensive knowledge in taxation, R & D tax credits, as well as corporate finance. Proactive, Sam is abreast on the changes taking place in the accounting and taxation fields, including financial reporting, government assistance and tax credits. This knowledge translates into making him a valuable asset to his clients and the firm alike.
Sam’s strengths lie in his ability to meet the needs of his varied clientele and his sound business sense. As an experienced strategic advisor, Sam strives towards improving the profitability of a business while ensuring that long-term planning goals and development needs are also met. Sam’s analytical mind and creative way of thinking provides him with the ability to find solutions to difficult problems that arise in the ever-changing marketplace.
Sam joined the firm in 1988 as an intern, became a Chartered Accountant in 1990 and made partner in 1997. He established the assurance and accounting committee, as well as the measures for the quality control department, which is responsible for overseeing the application of accounting standards and the development and monitoring of firm-wide standards.
