Training

Training is an essential part of the summer program and during your first year as a full-time employee. PSB Boisjoli provides practical and effective training sessions as it combines theory with real-life situations as faced by accountants on a day-to-day basis. The background and tools given to new hires during the training process will establish the foundation for their success.

The following training is provided to summer interns and new employees:

• Introductory training to firm policies and the paperless environment
• Introductory audit training
• Introductory corporation tax and preparation of corporate tax returns
• Other on the job training and senior staff supervision

Mandates

Exposure to audit and assurance mandates will provide our summer interns and new employees with the best hands-on experience in the accounting field as they begin their careers. All summer interns will be assigned to an audit team and will perform various tasks, playing an important role in insuring the success of a variety of engagements over the summer.
