Brenda Cormier,
Principal

Brenda has over 25 years of accounting and assurance experience. She joined PSB BOISJOLI’s Standards department as a Senior Manager in 2010. She was promoted to Principal in January 2025.

Brenda is a valuable member of the Standards department, the department responsible for the Firm’s quality control, ensuring the Rules of Professional Conduct/Code of Ethics are adhered to, developing assurance methodologies as well as training material and tools for the Firm’s professionals. Brenda specializes in Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises and International Financial Reporting Standards and their application to small and medium enterprises in various industries. Her keen attention to detail and commitment to quality ensures the Firm delivers high quality products.

Brenda has brought her interest in environmental issues to work and chairs the PSB BOISJOLI Green Committee. She works with a team to promote eco-friendly initiatives within the Firm and has also been instrumental in having the Philanthropy and Green Committees work together for the Firm’s annual Community Event.
